I... am... speed!

 This cake was so much fun to make. Lightning McQueen from Cars for a 3rd birthday. Sponge cake topped with vanilla fondant, decorated with a number 3 road and Lightning himself! The checkerboard stripe looks fab and I added a banner for the happy birthday message!

On yer bike!

This bike helmet cake was for the lovely people at SGN that did a charity bike ride. This was quite a challenge but I dived in as usual and it ended up looking pretty good. I made the cake look realistic by cutting into it to make the air vents and shaped it as close as I could to a real helmet.
